KCB sources and distributes multiwall paper bags in high performance and standard kraft paper constructions. The paper used in our shipping sacks is a 100% renewable resource. Some of the strongest papers in the world are manufactured from Radiata pine, which we use exclusively.

Our high performance line of bags are made in all traditional styles and allow the customer to reduce overall plies of paper used in the construction of the bag. We can offer any construction option as our manufacturers utilize the most up-to-date equipment in the world.

SOM—Sewn Open Mouth

Basic bag sewn at manufacturers end
Manufactured in 2-4 plies
Can include barrier films for moisture protection
Commonly used in the feed and seed industries

PVSE—Pasted Valve Stepped End

Enclosed bag with valve opening for filling
Can be manufactured with up to 4 plies including film
Can include barrier film for moisture protection
Unlimited valve options based on customer requirements
Can be manufactured with reinforcement patches
Extremely strong bag commonly used to package chemicals, resins, and rock based products: Cement, limestone, sand, pvc, surfactants, drilling mud
KCB stocks many sizes for common uses

POM—Pasted Open Mouth

Open mouth bag with folded pasted square bottom
Cost effective replacement for standard SOM sack
High bottom strength with fewer plies as sew lines are eliminated
Can include barrier film for moisture protection
Can be manufactured with up to 4 plies including film

PBOM—Pinch Bottom Open Mouth

Open mouth bag with stepped paper plies with hot melt sealed manufacturers end
Customer end has applied adhesive for reactivation after filling
Can include barrier film for moisture protection
Can be manufactured with up to 4 plies including film
Commonly used for food products requiring a complete seal

SOS—Self Opening Style

Small format grocery sack style bag with a flat bottom and open top
Can be manufactured with coated papers for moisture protection
Manufactured in environment meeting hygiene requirements for food grade products
Commonly used for retail 1 to 10 pound food packages including: Sugar, flour, cake mixes

Milk Bags—Specialized Bags for the Powdered Milk and Whey Industries

Feature a flat pasted bottom with stepped end heat sealable top
Can be manufactured with flush cut top
Heavy interior liners for moisture protection
